Who you’ll be out there with

Kayla and Manuel

Kayla has been guiding since 2008 and living in Costa Rica for fifteen years. ACA Level 4 kayak and swiftwater rescue instructor, and an EMT. Also runs Cross-Cultural Connect, a nonprofit bringing students through the country.

Manuel was born and raised in Turrialba and has guided just about everything here — rivers, trails, bikes, birds. Certified Costa Rican tour guide and ACA Level 4 swiftwater rescue instructor. If there’s a better way to do a day, he knows it.

Most days it’s one of us. When it isn’t, it’s a guide we picked ourselves: highly qualified, and among the best paid in the country. Good guides are what make a trip safe, and what make it great.
